The American pop culture publication mengungkapkan bahwa seleksi dilakukan dari 25 lagu terpanas tahun ini di situsnya pada 13 Desember. 'I Am the Best' 2NE1 menduduki peringkat 21dalam daftar yang disusun oleh staf majalah tersebut.
Ini sangat penting, mengingat 2NE1 belum membuat debut resmi mereka di AS. 2NE1 juga diakui sebagai Best New Band di Dunia oleh MTV Iggy.
